The President of the Civil Service Bureau lectures at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College

On Thursday, the President of the Civil Service Bureau, Sameh Al-Nasser, gave a lecture entitled "The Strategy of the Civil Service Bureau in Reducing Unemployment and Recruiting Competencies in State Institutions", for scholars in the 18th National Defense Course, in the presence of the Commander and Chairman and members of the directing staff in the college. Al-Nasser said: "The vision of the Civil Service Bureau is based on the leadership of human resources management and the public position in the civil service, and it mission is to manage and develop the public job with its human, procedural, legal and supervisory dimensions in cooperation with partners through the optimal investment in human resources and stimulating initiative, creativity and sharing knowledge, with the aim of Improving performance and excellence in providing service to its recipients. He indicated that the Civil Service Bureau's strategic plan (2020-2022) aims to ensure the provision of all services within the standards of quality, efficiency and transparency by raising the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment to meet the departments' needs of human resources, in accordance with the required job competencies and enhancing the ability to properly plan human resources, efficiently distribute and improve Using them, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources in the civil service, consolidating creativity and excellence, and enhancing the supervisory, informational and societal role of the Civil Service Bureau. He emphasized the continuation of the trend towards public employment as a basic option for Jordanians, and the culture of the civil service, despite the limited number of vacancies available for the purposes of appointment based on approved government policies, which could not enable the Bureau to satisfy the service recipient of the more than 400,000 job seekers. Employment, while the recruitment rate decreased to only about 2% of the total applicants, which constitutes an additional burden on the Bureau, noting that the Bureau deals annually with about (35) thousand new applications. At the end of the lecture, an extended discussion took place during which the guest lecturer answered the students ’questions and inquiries.
